Summer days within the Labrador interior, on average, are warm and pleasant. Daytime highs average near 60 degrees Fahrenheit with lows around 40. During the summer, low pressure systems provide ample rainfall, allowing the river temperature to stay within optimal range. Short lived afternoon showers can develop, as low pressure systems work through the area.

Due to the geographic characteristics of the Labrador Interior the winds here are mild compared to coastal regions within the providence. Temperatures during the fall season are slightly mild compared to summer, however temps are still very tolerable. Dressing in layers and being prepared for the elements is the key to enjoying the unspoiled grandeur of Labrador.
